My salesperson, Maria Gomez, was exceptionally helpful throughout the process. When the first sofa I ordered wouldn't fit through my doorway, she cheerfully helped me find an alternative that fit perfectly and looks great. And it was even a little less expensive! I give her top marks for courtesy, helpfulness, and real caring.

This is not the first time I had items delivered from American Furniture Warehouse, and likely not the last. This time around I ordered online, rather than go to their store. It was easy to find the item I was looking for, even easier to order and then setup a delivery. I received the delivery today (Memorial Day). The Drivers texted me a time they were going to be here and they were punctual. They were also very quick in bringing in the furniture and installing everything for me. They were very friendly, courteous and professional. Couldn't be happier once again with AFW. Well done.

We had bought from AFW for past 20 years. For our mountain home in summit county. And shipping to our other home. This past week we went to the Thorton location to replace 10 yr old recliners we had bought from afw that fell apart because they were bonded leather. We found two replacement recliner of better quality. In the store we found a 100 percent Italian leather sofa and loveseat. We liked the saddle color of the display on the showroom. We had it delivered to summit county and the sofa and love seat were chocolate brown. Not a dye lot mishap but a totally different color. We called our salesman who basically said he could not help. Asked for the store manager who said everyone of that product had the same purchase order and would be dark brown. That the showroom model was 4 years old and she could send us that. We said we didn't want old furniture. She said she didn't have a magic wand. We never heard from anyone again. I called customer service and they said they didn't know if anything had been done. We were offered nothing but to return it and that would have left us with no furniture till we went shopping again. Difficult in the mountains. Terrible attitude from AFW and terrible customer service. Why do they keep furniture so old on the showroom and not know you can't get that color ever. Shameful...so be aware of this practice. Response to owner Response. Cow hides are tanned and then dyed. You are claiming a cow color is the problem. Not true. 100 percent leather comes in many colors..white, grey, brown, red. You have a display behind this sofa for orders that can be made in many different colors with swatch colors. You simply have kept a 4 yr old sofa on the showroom. That is what I bought the saddle tan not chocolate brown you delivered. Your mistake not mine. Don't blame and take responsibility.

Have ordered several items in the past year from here. Every experience has been GOLD. The ease of ordering online. To the friendly customer service on the phone. To setting up a delivery date. To also the delivery crew, courteous and respectful of property. They give you a link to keep an eye on your delivery so you know when it will be delivered. Every experience I have had here has been great. The prices are extremely reasonable, And the quality of items I’ve purchased are well made and sturdy.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality furniture on a budget

They are nice but they lie to you and are not honest.I bought a sofa and kitchen table with chairs on 5/1/25. They said it will be delivered in 2 weeks like 5/15th. They were sure about delivery. Nothing happened. I called 5/20th and after 30 minutes they said it moved to mid July. They said we can give you refund. Just like that. They are not honest and all they want is you to pay and then they really don’t care. I have no furnitures now for 20 days and they moved the delivery to Mid July with “ subject to change “.
If you want to buy make sure you press them hard on delivery with some sort of conditions.
Now after all these time and effort and paying I have to go somewhere else to shop all over again.
Furniture Row is way more classy and organized. I regret shopping at American furniture.

The delivery guys showed up right on time. They were fast, friendly, professional and asked sincerely if I was satisfied. From purchase to delivery A+ and that is so rare when you buy furniture online. Buy local and get white glove service delivery instead of a box and directions of how to assemble. Thank you AFW!

I appreciated my experience with AFW. Prior to my purchase, the Customer Service Manager and Reps were a delight, very helpful and patient. The delivery drivers were excellent and the furniture appears to be worth the financial investment. At least, so far. My only issue was the customer service afterwards I called to inquire about care and maintenance of products if something were to happen. No warranty tags or documents were included with my new pieces of furniture which was odd to me. I did not like this part and seemed questionable if my items were actually new. The manager who assisted me by phone was very rude, condescending, and unhelpful. He repeatedly told me that information can not be found and AFW does not give that information out, he only gave me a cleaning code. I asked what that meant and it was like pulling teeth. Or, as if I did not just purchase same-day new furniture as a new customer. Complete disregard. ZERO kindness after the SALE!!!

Worst place that I can imagine to buy furniture. It was a horrible experience. They upset my wife and disrespected me. We took our cash money and left. Obviously, they didn't want to make a sale today.We got the exact same couch at a different place for less money. Again It was a horrible experience at the Thornton store. This was from a guy who claimed he had been there 11 years. Crazy! On top of a cheeper price we wanted and automon that opened with storage inside. I was laughed at. So we ultimately got an automon that we wanted at a cheaper price.

Never noticed, but the same pieces of furniture and other stuff are cheaper at the Aurora location. So you might want to go check it out.
Also, if you have a non real ID and want to buy with financing they will not accept it. The bank will but the store won't, which is stupid.

If you’re looking for the salesman of the year please look up Angelo Cordova whenever you visit AFW. Not only was Angelo patient and showed us many options, he was not pushy snd he was so kind when we said we wanted to think about it and left the store. We called him back and placed out order. Layer in the evening he called to verify our purchase and discovered the wrong email and hr was able to correct it. Because of Angelo’s service and attention to detail we added an additional piece to our order. Thank you Angelo we appreciate all yiu did to take care of us.

Super frustrating and incontinent!
I ordered a delivery for a king bed for 3/20/2025 due to switching out to a new king bed for my Airbnb. AFW called me last minute on the delivery date saying it cannot be delivered for another at least a week since it needs to be shipped from Arizona and the color will be different than the one I chose.
So we won't have a bed when my guests arrive for this weekend! Super inconvenient and frustrating!
So now we have to disassemble another queen bed we have in the basement and assemble again etc so much work!
I would not consider buying more furniture from this place in the future even though they gave us $40 credit for future purchase for this major inconvenience!

I've always liked this furniture store, don't shop here often BUT......
My most recent experience there yesterday was TERRIBLE, I won't be returning!
Paid for my purchase, walked down the sidewalk to the warehouse where I was informed I'd not paid for the chair.
Walked back to the front desk where the associate told me I'd not paid for my purchase, I showed him the receipt and my BOA app that listed the purchase as being authorized and yet he insisted on authorizing it again.
I told him no, I'd spent too much time there already, he voided the transaction on my debit card...... it's still showing as a pending authorization today!
I don't know what happened over these last couple years but the lack of care/competence from these people has declined tremendously over the years.
I won't be back!

Very fast, communicative, friendly. Delivered within the agreed time frame. The guys brought it in, arranged it, checked the electronics, collected the trash. We are very pleased. This is our first experience with AFW company. We will definitely recommend this company to our friends. The sofas are so comfortable and firm. Easy to clean. The electronics work excellent and quiet. We are very satisfied. Best price around!!!!

Isaac is so amazing and patient. We were there two days in a row and could not decide on couches but he stayed by us and helped with everything we needed. If with me changing my mind a million times.

They lie about delivery dates/estimates. I was told I'd get all my furniture delivered this weekend... Nope, half is getting delivered on Monday the other half is back ordered a month. Unacceptable. Issac told us we'd have our office furniture and either did this intentionally for the sale or is incompetent and can't read when deliveries are coming in. DON'T PURCHASE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT HEADACHES.
Update: 2 months out and still missing half the order.. been told it'll be June now (I purchased in March). They offered to refund me for the pieces that are on back order if I didn't want to wait... but that means I have half my matching furniture missing. No refunds/ returns on the other half that got delivered. So my options are to wait it out or have office furniture that is piecemeal. Lovely choices AFW 👌🏻

We went and purchased a king size bed. The gentlemen that helped us was professional and answered all of our questions. The sale went smoothly. The bed was delivered to our home in a timely manor. The delivery drivers put it togetherand we were good to go. When we went to bed that evening and in the middle of my husband's remote control quit working. I called the next day and they said they would send out a new motor the next day. They did bring the new motor but now I am leary about how long this will last. They said this was the first time it happened. I hope so it wasn't a cheap set. They were all professional about it.

Definitely not worth shopping here, had to wait a month for a sectional on back order, and when time for delivery the guys wouldn't take it in so had to pay even MORE for a SMALLER sectional and wait even longer to get it. Definitely shopping walmart or wayfair for furniture next time.
